Each material has specific requirements before installation, such as the acclimation period for hardwood flooring. Depending on various factors, the acclimation period can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Products such as laminate or Luxury vinyl generally do not require acclimation. Solid hardwood requires a minimum of 14 days acclimation on the job site prior to installation.
